Shane enjoys Racing, building racecars, dreaming about racecars, anything racecars.

Started Racing Ministocks at Rotorua in 2001

He has raced at Rotorua, Huntley, Kihikihi, Baypark, Gasbourne, Napier, Palmy, Nelson and Christchurch Speedways in many classes including Ministocks, Superstocks, Stockcars and Streetstocks

Achievements include being Top qualifier at MIP 2003, First Place at 2007 Easter best pairs and racing for the 2015 Maulers Superstock Team.
But his most memorable moments have been Teams racing and being the only car from Rotorua to Qualify for the North Island champs.

Shane has raced in all of the "stock" class in New Zealand

Unique Speedway Engineering Toolshed, Rotorua is a low budget race team. To keep the costs down they build their own Chassis, Engines, and Suspention. And do a lot of work on other cars to cover racing expences.
